Building Networks

The National Board Council of New York became an affiliated network of the NBPTS in the Fall of 2007. It was established to provide the over arching structure and vehicle for communication about National Board Certification throughout New York State. Our hope is to have support available within one hour of every teacher in NYS.

	To support collaboration
	and continuous learning
through teacher leadership and the National Board process
	to improve student learning.

During the 2010-2011 school year we will hold regional NBCNY Network meetings to help assist Teacher Centers, Support Providers, NBCTs in collaborations.

The Next NBPTS Conference will be held in Washington DC on July 27-30 2011.  Hill Day will be on July 26 (Tuesday).  We plan to meet with the NBCNY Networks at the conference!
